NASA (not the rocket scientists, but the National Auto Sport Association) is putting on an autoX at Excel Motorsports in Concord, NC on 11/29.
This event is limited to 60 entries, and is unique in that 1 'run' will consist of 3 consecutive laps around the course. You will get 4 'runs' (12 laps) for your $25 registration fee. Looks to be a fun event. I'm already registered and I've confirmed that all 'normal' autoX rules apply. No aftermarket rollbar is necessary.

I don't know anything about the venue, but from my emails to the organizer, it sounds like it's going to be a pretty normal 30-40 second autoX course, but each run will be 3 laps, or around 90-100 second 'runs'. This is the first autoX event I've heard of NASA holding in Charlotte, but I've only been autoXing for 2 years...

I'm in! Got pre-registered this morning. Now I just need to send them a check. I think this is going to be a blast. Plus it's near Concord Mills, so the ladies will have something to do while we're out playing
