Hey!

I always get shit from my friends for not making a big deal out of my birthday, so I figured this year I would at least mention it was happening and tell people where I'll be.

The particulars:
Where: The Flying Saucer @ Univeristy
When: Monday Oct 2nd @ &:30Pm-10ish (??)
Who: Everyone I know in CLT, music people, car people, random friends, you're all invited (and you can bring your friends or sig others if you want)

I know shedloads of people from way different walks of life - it's rare that I get to hang out with everyone at once - my birthday is the perfect excuse!

It's fairly low-key, just come in whatever, stay for however long, i'm not fussy - drinks are accepted (of course) - and no, i'm not driving

If you can come, cool I'd love to see you - if not, no biggie as it IS a Monday night.

If there's enough interest perhaps we could organize a drive for about 30 beforehand, starting at around 7 (with me dropping my car off at my house after obviously)? Let me know if you'd be interested and I'll amend the post to reflect that (and let my other friends know, I've got a few who would be up for trying to keep up )

i was at the saucer tonight (9/27) for MY birthday and got a fun little note on my car from a miss katie mo. i'm guessing maybe that's you...i've been coming to S2KI for a while now, but haven't gotten involved in any events or anything for no particular reason. i'd love to meet some fellow owners though, so i'll try to come wish you a happy birthday in person.

i'll see what i can do...most of my buddies are old married farts who aren't usually up for going out drinking on monday nights anymore. i guess their sleep and/or wives are more important or something...i don't really understand but whatever. i wonder if i saw you...i was out on the patio most of the night....

 

we were on the couch by the door from about 8ish until like 10:30ish - stopped out on the patio just to see if there were seats (there weren't)
