Damn, I'll be gone by then! Charleston is awesome, although the roads around here can get pretty rough. It's heaven for car photographers, though.
What would you all suggest for a meeting spot? Somewhere near North Charleston Mall? Sullivan's Island? We DEF need to do a photo shoot by the water at the battery!

The old Navy yard is a great location for shots, although the roads getting in there are a bit rough. It can be done, though. I've shot a few slammed cars in that area and they only scraped once or twice if they took their time.

Just some suggestions:
-At our last meet we met at the Mt Pleasant Pier ( http://www.ccprc.com/index.aspx?NID=1171 ) 71 Harry M. Hallman, Jr Blvd, Mt Pleasant. This is under the big bridge that connects downtown Charleston to Mt. Pleasant. This is a good location because if you choose to eat downtown Charleston it allows a group drive over the bridge and there are a lot of nice restaurants in Mt. Pleasant as well.
-Since you all are traveling from such a far ways away, do you really want to eat at a chain restaurant?
Parking downtown Charleston may be a bit tough and a garage may be your best bet (but be cautious of those with steep entrances/exits) or paid parking lots.
My suggestions in no particular order:
