Default Met a local new owner today!

I was over at a buddy's house in North Charlotte yesterday bottling the home brew we've been working on, and we were outside flipping burgers on the grill. About four doors down, I see a white AP2 and a guy washing it. Went over to speak to him and he's a super nice guy. He's only had the car for ten days! VERY clean white 04 with black/tan interior. I drove mine that day, so I pulled mine over to his house and we shot the breeze a little bit. I told him to join the forums and meet up with all of us soon. Always nice to meet new people, especially gear heads.

Nice. Why do all you guys on the forum live in North Charlotte? LOL. Doug, AJ, Kevin, Matt, Stephen, Daniel, I think Evan does too... and now this new guy. Just me and Eric down here in South Charlotte it seems like.

I've offered tech/grill/brew days at my house and so far, no takers. Maybe I'll do another whenever I figure out which seats and harnesses I want...

Anytime I do something non-standard on the car I typically put feelers out. I swapped rotors tonight with new cryo units, same as before. I got 9 weekends out of them before one let go, so that's not too bad for a non-BBK. I'll probably rebuild the front calipers before long, the dust boot on the pistons are all torn up and they don't release as well as they should...maybe this weekend or next.
