Get with it Airgate, update the list of attendees already! I count total of 12 S2000's now (w/ possibly Hotrods2000 attending).

12....Very nice. Hopefully, by that weekend, the Pinehurst folks will be able to hear my S from a distance.

What are you implying Matt? Something new and shiny...and loud to show us? Are you losing the 50 pounds of OEM exhaust?

After this weekend, I should have an aftermarket exhaust courtesy of one of our fellow Carolinians.

Exactly, take those two figures and add them together. Then divide it by 300. That sounds about right.

I'll check my office in the morning. I have the menu along with prices listed.

When I used the word " Exquisite" in my Scouting for Curves write up I meant it. I would suggest S2K attendees wear at least collared shirts w/nice shorts and/or golf attire. Think Pebble Beach Concours atmosphere: If our crowd wore Searsucker jackets(on men) and Straw hats (on the ladies) we'd fit right in!!

For those needing a more detailed map on how to get to the resort once in Pinehurst here is a good one.

For Lunch at Pinehurst. . .

Selections

The 49th Street Deli Buffet
Sliced Deli Meat (Roast Turkey, Roast Beef, Smoked Ham, Corned Beef and Genoa Salami)
Sliced Cheese (Swiss, Cheddar and Provolone)
Basket of Kaiser Rolls, Rye, Pumpernickel, Whole Wheat and White Breads
Assorted Garnishments (Mayonnaise, Mustard, Creamed Horseradish, Sliced Tomatoes, Onions, Bibb Lettuce Leaves and Kosher Pickle Spears)
Mustard Potato Salad
Creamy Coleslaw

The Putterboy Buffet
Mixed Field Greens with Assorted Dressings and Garnishments
Mustard Potato Salad
Creamy Coleslaw
Charbroiled Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and Marinated Chicken Breast
Assorted Garnishments (Lettuce, Sliced Tomato and Onions, Hamburger and Hot Dog Buns, Pickle Relish, Ketchup, Mustard and Mayonnaise)
Southern Style Baked Beans
Assorted Cookies and Brownies
Lemonade and Sweet Tea

I took all that time typing this and it's only if we arrange a 50 person luncheon and the price is $24 per person.

Expect lunch to be around $15 - 20 on Saturday, maybe more.

I'm confused.

If the bargain price for 50 is $24, why should we expect the price to be less?

I'm thinking a BYO picnic in the horse country under a shady tree with some samiches and a bottle of wine would be even cheaper (and more fun).
