mcdragon omg what a fun time
i want to thank everyone that came to McDragon and we really had a great time and I can't wait for next year when we do it all again but I hope Dave can come next year as we really missed him this year but we made new friends and boy are they fast all the guys on motorcycles said so when we got to the end of the dragon and they finally caught up why does everyone thing that two wheels are always faster then four wheels but those weird honda hoot guys with their triks were _really_ slow OMG why did they get in front of us and airgate told us all about his element and did you know that you can carry all sorts of square things in an element and if you really think about it you can survive only on square things which would be good if all you had was an element like you could eat sicilian pizza or you could drink only from juice boxes but wait they have wine in boxes too so you could invite the mccoy's so I guess for your vegetables you could have frozen peas they are square but i don't understand why elements have drink holders since they are round and we all know you cant put a round drink in a square element omg i know i am going to have "logon issues' when airgate gets home but i can play games if i can't get on the forum 'cause you can carry a chess board in an element 'cause it is square or if you are cool you can carry a go board but omg the stone are round so i have to have a friend with a vw bug to carry my round stuff but then i cant say element!! like airgate that hurts my ears when he says it on the radio i will have to play scrabble when i get my "logon issues' 'cause the board and the tiles are square and they can travel in my element did you know that you can get anna's lasagna for takeout and it is square and raul can bring it to your house in his element i want to go to an element meet where they carry square things back and forth but it doesnt sound like as much fun as running the dragon like we did this weekend 'cause dragon curves are round not square but i bet that jamie has some square parts from his check machines that can travel in rauls element do you jamie pm me and let me know did you know that raul is putting mods on his element and he likes to talk about them but he also likes to talk about an unfortunate incident at a quick mart in his past that was really unfortunate for the people that had to clean up but we dont talk about that except when weve had too much wine but its ok 'cause raul says that the other square people that drive elements wave to him and and it makes him all excited but dont worry 'cause he promises he wont stare at your pants anymore but he may ask where you got them im glad that all that happened before brian got there because with that cool new gear he would have run so fast we would have never caught him except maybe huskergirl if she had better tires like she would have if she had not stood me up with my s on jack stands but thats another story and i think darrell got tired of our stories and id say its because we are older than him but we all know that airgate did not get all of our ages and even if steve did get our pictures I dont think you will be able to tell because the cars look so good who looks at the people and who let those people in our car picture anyway but sheila put her dragon on the hood of steves car in that cool shot we took of the cars so there was something alive but omg a dragon isn

Ron & Sheila,
Thrilled to see you made it home safely! I'm assuming Kallan did, as well.
Thank you, for allowing us to join you for another awesome McDragon. I may be slow, but I can still have fun 'throwing' the S around those curves...especially when we didn't have 'cruisers', minivans, and all sorts of other vehicles that were slower........than even ME !!!!
I'll try to add pics later...it always takes me forever to do all of that.
Thanks again, to everyone, for making it such an awesome weekend !!!
Blue Waters Mountain Lodge
View from front porch
Inside...sitting area & fireplace
Ron & Sheila...relaxing
Raul & Darrell...it's NOT that serious, Raul!
Jamie...happy after lots of 'runs'
Pull over...cool off...at North end of Dragon
At the gravel turn-around...again...one of many!
Fontana Dam
Different angle
Over-look on 28 S
Five fine cars...posing nicely for the cameras
Our intrepid directors & photographers...Sheila 'patiently' saying hurry up...I want to drive FAST!!!

You guys make it seem so fun.
I moved from California to North Carolina about a year ago and I havent driven on an exciting road since. Unfortunately, the S2000 was sold and left behind in California so if you guys wouldn't mind letting an honorary S2ki member join in, I'd love to meet you all on the Dragon. I still consider S2Ki my home forum...

Edit: That's the longest sentence I've ever seen.

Wish we could have made it. We are still trying to get on our feet after moving up here with no jobs. Lisa and I are now both employed and hope to have no issues making the DBR this fall.
Photos have been great in the other threads, keep 'em coming.

Obviously...my new Element was talked about alot, but we had such an awesome time this weekend. My only regret is that my wonderful, loving wife, Anna, was not able to join me (parents away livin' it up in Italy).
Thanks again for the great times! Here are my pics...
The Arrival to The Dragon...
Busy then...and OH MY GAWD...soooo very busy later in the day!!!
A quick pic...after a nice Dragon lunch!
Mouth of the Dragon...
Kallan strikes a pose...
Jamie is ready for some Dragon action!!!
One of those rare times Ron and Sheila *DO NOT* have a wine glass in hand!
Steve prepares for more Dragon slaying...
Over at the lodge...the end of our 1st day!

I'm glad to see you made it home safely...too.
Do you have a new pool ordered, yet???
It was great to see you again...thrilled you could make it, and get out of that office...for some FUN time!

Great pics...the lodge looks awesome. Tapoco dosen't quite measure up but it does have a pool and that got me a great day of driving Saturday .
Another thank you to all you NC guys and gals. The group we had was great to drive with...perfect size and we were able to run at a great pace (most of the time).
I will "never" not get gas again in my life...nothing better than having to drop out of a great run to head to the gas station .
Looking forward to meeting you all again at the Dragonball Run.
Thanks,
Bill

Uuuuummmm...they made have made it home...safely...but I believe there's been some considerable damage done to Ron's writing abilities.
MANY, MANY thanks to everyone for coming out. I say we take over the ENTIRE lodge next year! (We did have it to ourselves Friday night, which was very cool!)
I had such a great time; even with the occaisional back-ups due to the Hooters. (That's HONDA Hooters, in case you were wondering). It's going to be very hard to concentrate on work today. Now looking forward to DRAGONBALL!!!
