I think I'm gonna try to ride down to MB this Sunday, if anyone feels like meeting up. I want to try and hit up a few places and see if they'll do group rates

Well I would, but time waits for no one. If we're shooting for the event to be in the middle of July, it only gives us 2.5 months to lock everything in. The shirts still have to be designed and printed (also lanyards, magnets, etc if we decide to do all that). Not to mention that a lot of people are on the fence about coming because of price, itinerary, etc. I feel the sooner things can get nailed down, the sooner people can make the decision and ask for time off. 2.5 months is not that far away, but I feel sure, we'll be making a few trips down there between now and then, so we'll prob need your help once you get moved down there.

 

Aight sounds good to me for sure then! Just let me know, I'm gonna be more than willing to help to get this set up! But I see what you're saying, 2.5 months is not far at all!

I think S2000 Type_S (Jay), had some issues finding a reasonable rate for hotels. On top of that he's been fighting with a local body shop, who's had his car for over 3 months. I don't know if any details have changed, but I'm going to say that no the event probably won't happen this year.

 

Maybe we can have a later meet, like end of season or something.

I apologize for not having this more settled. I was trying to get everything worked out not realizing the body shop would literally have my car almost all year. I should have it back at the end of this week or first part of next week. If we can get a group together in the Carolina's last minute I'm still all for it and will put the ball in motion for next years MBSM. It of course would be a lot better than this years as this year we would just have to go in without a tentative schedule.
