Looking to see if I can find any history on my 2004 S2000, according to the carproof report it originated in Pendleton, SC and was registered there until January 5th 2008 when it was reported to have "severe damage" "impact with guardrail" in Georgia... It doesn't show any titles in GA prior to the accident though so it leads me to believe it was a one owner car until lit was wrecked (62102 miles on the clock at that point)

At that point it appears the car worked its way through a few salvage auctions and eventually into central canada, then to the east coast... The owner I purchased from had been told by the person he bought it from had coincidentally "lost control and hit a guardrail", but he did not know of the 2008 accident till I told him... the rebuild from that crash is listed on the car proof only as a bodyshop repair valued over $11,000

I find it hard to believe the car would have suffered two separate collisions with guard rails... But also hard to believe it was damaged in 2008 then not repaired till 2011
