You know, I dont know if its necessarily a splurging $$$ type a deal or what...?? Just the raw power of this truck really sticks with you man... I mean the S2000 is the closest thing to an exotic I will/have ever owned/driven and 240hp is a tremedous amount to me... I know this is an apples to oranges comparison here, but this truck makes the S seem even more outdated to me inside and out... At least mine anyways(MY01)... Go ahead flame away I know... But come on guys, IMO Honda needs to progress with the market on the S soon or it will fall to the wayside like the NSX... I love the S2k dearly(this one's the 2nd I've owned) and would not ever consider getting rid of it, except this truck here is in a class by itself...
Truthfully guys, I probably will NOT be getting this truck in reality for the $$$ reasons and costs to own factor compared with the S...
But this thing was my 1st experience with anything more powerful than the S2K(240Hp) and it will always stick with me... But if I do land this thing miraculously(sp?) I'll def. take ya'll for a ride and you will be convinced...

My elise doesnt feel like anything to go fast either. No torque = no speeding sensation. Brandon, if it makes you feel any more normal to want a change, most people I know who are in exotic cars, and most people I have talked to who sell/own exotic cars say that people who own tend to rotate selling theirs every few months. Even people with the ultimate cars, like a murci or a 430 sell them and get others after a little while.

keep it if you like 8-10mpg. i had a viper when i lived in vegas five years ago. 12mpg highway was a good day even though wheel spin at 100mph is fun this will become your new hobby. ignore the bad haircut, please :]

Sorry, I've owned trucks before, and I wouldn't sell my Kia Rio to have another. I bet my Kia will outhandle that truck on The Dragon. Too much torque is not a good thing, depending on what you are wanting to accomplish. I honestly couldn't drive The Dragon with that much torque. And, if I can't drive The Dragon, then....
I really don't think I could control that torque on The Dragon. I'm sure it's a fun truck, but I'd have to change my whole driving technique to drive that truck.
Good luck what whatever you decide to do. I'm torn between the S2K, the Elise, and the C6, so I know what you are going though. They are all totally different driving experiences. Which is a good thing. Who wants all cars/trucks to drive the same?
Go for what makes you feel best and gives you the most bang for the buck. But, keep in mind your pocketbook.

Well guys, I believe the truck has been sold already as I did not see it on the lot once today...
Oh well, it would have been a $$$ pit I know...
Hell, I made it back from Charlotte to Asheboro last night with 4 bars on the gas gauge and still had roughly a gallon and a half left when I filled up in Asheboro last night... Can't argue with that mileage one bit!!!

The original oil jet bolts have only two holes that the oil flows through. In hard driving conditions this can restrict the oil sufficiently to starve the cylinders. The new bolts have 4 holes.
Changing them is relatively simple. Once you drop the oil pan you have full access to them ecept for some contortion twisting to get to the #1 cylinder bolt. Give yourself plenty of time to do this job. Drain the oil overnight or you'll have it dripping on you constantly. Allow 12 hours for the gasket material to cure when you put the oil pan back on. Don't put oil back in the engine until it cures.
I'll be glad to give you more pointers when you're ready to do it.
