oh, and if you visit a viper forum, they all say that the v10 is really reliable, as is the rest of the car. the truck is probably the same

Well that's interesting you say that b/c I just checked on that today and thru my ins. co., with only $250 comp. and coll. it would only run me $4 more a month than the S right now...
I was extremely surprised... I definately figured it would go thru the damn roof, but apparently not the case...

Brian, I've been browsing the Viper truck club boards the past few days and nothing at all seems to be an issue with this truck, just the gas... And reliability seems to be exceptional with all the members...
But like I said, it IS a Viper motor in there, so you can't say much or complain really about the fuel with it's output, ya know...

This particular one is a used '04 with a lil' over 10K on the clock and asking price is $29,500...
All factory options but with aftermarket exhaust already installed...

Tyler, crazy as this may sound, the Viper itself really doesn't do anything for me... Of course it's a remarkable car, but I guess I'm just a truck guy deep down...

Dre, you're spot on for a new one with that price...

44runner, your very true with your statements and that's whats replaying in my mind ultimately... Upkeep and maint. and daily use will w/o a doubt be grossly, majorly expensive... not to mention just paying for it monthly... No it's not S2K quick in the twisties or any true sports car quick, but it isn't bad at all for a truck that weighs about 5,000lbs. and surprised the heck outta me... This thing will move and shake...

Very true, but not one with 505 horses and 525 ft./lbs of torque my friend...
Honestly, I was kinda disappointed once I got back in the S after driving this beast, but a couple of VTEC episodes pepped me right back up again...

If you feel like splurging on money, get gears and a SC!
