Hi,

I just stopped by to say hello and inform other local car enthusiast about some upcoming events. I've been on this site a few times before poking around, but didn't not know about this section until just recently.

Anyways, below are some events in the eastern Carolina area for all those that might be interested.

August 2-3rd 6th Annual Show & Shine by the Sea -Wilmington,NC
The event is to benefit the Hospice of the Lower Cape Fear.
Entry fee is $20 before July 26th and $30 after the 26th.

This will be my first time attending this event, so I don't know what to expect, but it is for a very good cause and there is prize money involved. I will be there with a small contingent of cars to help promote the local SCCA chapter. It would be nice if we can get some s2000 owners to attend as well to show off their cars.

The next event will be another autocross event in New Bern sometime towards the end of August. This event will be hosted by the NCR SCCA Cape Fear Chapter and will be at the Twin Rivers Mall.

I've meet a couple of you already at our first autocross event in April and hope to get some more people out there for our next event.

BTW: The NCR SCCA region is currently looking for additional autocross sites in the eastern coastal North Carolina area (Wilmington - New Bern). If you know of any venues that maybe large enough to hold an event (min 400 x 400 sq ft.), please feel free to contact me.
