So I can tell you, from months of searching, that I have found NO nice twisty roads. The best you're going to get is the entrance and exit ramp, and most of the time there is someone in front of you.

That being said, the best place to go for a weekend get away, is to the mountains. I have been to Greenville now, about 4 or 5 times and its awesome. Do a little research ahead of time and find some cool stuff to see while you're there, or if you're feeling ambitious, you can venture up to Deals Gap, Hwy 129, on the border between NC and TN. Its about a 2 hour drive from Greenville.

There are many possibilities, it just depends on how far you're willing to travel. Unfortunately though, nothing close by is great, or if there is something, I havent found it and if you do find it, you should let me know!

Oh, and watch out for the police, they are EVERYWHERE. Be especially cautious of Crown Vic's, they use them all the time as under cover cars. I have also spotted a white '05 or newer mustang GT with black racing stripes that I never would have suspected had I not seen the flashing lights.

Been here just under a year now, the only good driving road ive found is on the Navy base, and theres way too much security here to even think about having any fun. Did find a nice road if ur into rally racing tho, lol.

I saw him pull someone over the other day on 526.

And I have not found any roads either. My friends and I usually just cruise to the beach or something.

NC Mountains ftw

A couple years ago several of the local police departments purchased a number of mustangs. Be careful, there are unmarked silver, red, black, white, and I'm sure others that I have not spotted. There is one that even has the cosmetic Roush package.

Everyone seems to be looking for some twisties here in the low country. What do you guys think about getting a group trip down to Roebling? I'm thinking just some spirited driving on the track might do the trick.

I'd be down if they dont require a roll bar, seems like every track down here does tho.
