Interest in Track event?!
I'm not trying to poach or steal anyone interested in RedCelica's CMP event on October 19th, but is anyone interested in either of these events? Perhaps someone looking for more track time or better bang for your buck? Both are being held by the PCA so there were be a lot of very nice machinery out there. The added bonus is getting to beat up on Boxsters and Caymans
Roebling Road event: 10/21 - 10/22 cost $240
Carolina Motorsports event: 10/27 - 10/28 cost $290
I've run with the PCA several times and it's always a great event with lots of very friendly people.
PM me for further details or check out the entries on www.clubregistration.net

I think we'd be okay with our factory hoops as well, but confirmation wouldn't hurt Top will have to be up unless you have arm restraints.

It is a $100 fee for instructors to participate at this event. An instructor (if needed) is included in the $290 fee.
Roebling is a longer drive; 4 1/2 hrs from where I live in Raleigh. However I feel like its a great track that flows very well. It is also far less abusive on tires and brakes than CMP.
Funny that there's a Seat-Time event the Friday beforehand as I know one of the guys that founded that organization.

That he does! I've known him since 2001, great guy! I'm never down there though b/c it is just too far of a drive for one day at the track.
I'm leaning towards the CMP event now. I'm pretty sure I can get a buddy from Charlotte to come down for the day and shoot a lot of photos with his SLR. He does some free lancing work on the side so I could probably get him to snap photos of any of us that go down for a pretty reasonable fee. If anyone is interested in that let me know.
