I am bumping this back to the top. There are a few spots left for the race. We have 2 Carolina folks going, it would be great to have a few more rep. the Carolinas.

What is this?

 

It's the Honda Indy Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports Park outside Birmingham, AL over the weekend of 4/25-27.

 

I guessed as much... Why are people signing up for it? Do we get free tickets or something?

 

The S community provides parade lap service for the race. What that is, we go out onto the track - pick up a driver and take them to the introduction location. After they are introduced they hop back in the car and you take them back to the pit lane. Total time is about 1.5 to 2 hrs.

For this you get 2 tickets for the entire weekend including paddock passes, and parking in the designated area.

Your S must be mostly stock looking (no wild colored wheels, etc) the car must be in good working order with no leaks etc.
