Default I still need help with HONEYMOON

getting married sept.24 so I ......need some help. We would like to go somewhere kinda tropical. But we are afraid of the southeast{carribean} *HURRICANES* . She wants to go to Hawaii but i'm a bit of a tight wad. I just think we could use all that money on our new house. I want to spend around 3000-4500 bucks. But I cant stand the thoughts of going over that. Thanks for any input!

since you have only one honeymoon. i say go for hawaii. it'll save you all the regrets that your future wife might have by not going.

If you have the money, spend it, but never go into debt for any vacation, even a honeymoon.

Hawaii is a place you need to spend a lot of time exploring. Not sure I'd want to have my first trip be my honeymoon. We went to Hawaii for our 20th.

We were poor when we got married, living in Northern California, so we spent 2 nights in Reno's best hotel casino, then spent 5 nights in a small cabin on Lake Tahoe. No regrets whatsoever.

IMO, a honeymoon is about the couple, not where they go.

We stayed in a nice place in the Poconos. Had a two story villa to ourselves. Big two story champaign glass whirlpool, it's own indoor pool, it's own sauna and weight room, a fireplace, "stars" in the ceiling.

It was close to a lot of waterfalls, plus we took a day trip to Niagra Falls. That was a pretty fun honeymoon. They brought breakfast to your door every morning and you'd go to the main area for dinner each night.

We did Maui and the Big Island after we were married for about five years. Did a lot of exploring and hiking. Had a great time. If you go to the islands, I'd say avoid Oahu and do Maui or Kaui for sure. Those are great islands for a honeymoon. It did cost a lot of money with a rental car, airfare, all the eating out. We stayed in Bed and Breakfasts though, so that was pretty cool.

My wife and I enjoyed Aruba. It is in the southern carribean and out of the path of most storms. Constant trade winds keep it a little cooler than other islands. It is more upscale than most so you dont get the panhandlers and hustlers you see in some places.

I just got back from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. I know it sounds tacky, but the hotel and especially the pool area was the best I have seen for the honeymoon mentality and especially for the money. If your young and want to have a blast with lots of other young beautiful people, this is a great place. I have been instructed that my wife and I will be going back every year to hang out for a long weekend. It may not be for everyone, but if you want fun and tropical for not a lot of dollars, you can't beat that place.

Congrats on the upcoming wedding. Its a great move, I have never done anything that was as rewarding as marrying my wife and she gave me my son, which I can never thank her enough for.

you should be able to spend a week in hawaii for that much. instead of eating out at a 5 star dinner every nite, just do it once. vacations are the best when you live local imho. call up a few marriotts in hawaii and see if they give any friends and family discounts. i'll hook up you with a pass if you can find me a black front bumper skin

Hey Brian finding good condition used parts are best found on here... I mean like not having little things. Dont get me wrong we have alot of nice parts for very new cars. Finding a nice berlina cover in a junkyard would be tough. I am one of the few Junkyards in the country with a berlina cover in inventory. http://www.car-part.com
Follow the link to 04-05 front cover for s2k and you will see Robbins Auto Parts. It is berlina but has some damage. We just want to go somewhere where there is something to do. We havent ever done any real traveling. And traveling is something I want to do.
