Default I just got the BEST gift ever!

Thanks to the unbelievable compassion, love, generosity and bank account of my lovely bride, JagLady,

the BAD CAVE is now............................................... ............

AIR CONDITIONED!!

She bought me a window air conditioner with her own hard-earned $$ and helped me install it. It even has a remote!

I couldn't have gotten a nicer gift on such a HOT 4th of July!!!!!

THANK YOU! ...THANK YOU! ...THANK YOU!

Very Nice. Makes the S2000 projects even that more appealing.

I am painting my calipers this weeknd and I wish I had an A/C in my garage. Its just not fun sniffing paint fumes in 90+ degree heat.

Thanks for the offer......I still have 3 ( plus a polyurethane coat) more coats to do so I would have needed it for 3-4 days. haha

Anyhow, 1 coat down. Wiz & MyBad, enjoy the AC

I'll be painting my callipers this weekend too. Only mine won't have sweat drips in the paint.

btw, if you DO get sweat drips in the paint, get them out fast!!! Fast curing calliper paint will encapsulate moisture and when you're burning up the twisties, the heat from your callipers will turn those drips to steam. :eek3]Since they're encapsulated in the paint there's only one thing that can happen............

Ka-BLUIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!

They'll explode and blow your wheels off!

That is a thoughtful gift and the remote is very convenient, this is the first A/C I have ever seen with a remote. Thinking ahead, is it also a heater for those upcoming winter days?

No, it doesn't heat but that's OK. I tend to hibernate in the winter.

After installing the A/C I was so excited that I spent the rest of the day cleaning up the cave. Look what I found! A three dimensional map of the Great Smokie Mountains that shows the Tail of the Dragon.

Cool, huh? (get it) It now has a place of prominence in the cave.

Raul, can you copy this pic, draw a circle around the Dragon and repost it?

I always thought the very best gift I could ever get is having my back scratched ...but an air conditioned garage is right up there .

Hey, I also got to work in the garage this weekend, only I did not get an air conditioner. However, I did get a much needed reprieve from the dreaded lawnmover incident "reminders". I guess 9 hours in the 90+ heat was enough to earn forgiveness. Finally! I have photos but I'll need to post under Kalan's screen name.
