I got my gears IN...
Hey I just got the 4.44 FG in the mail today I was wondering if anybody has changed their final Gear before....What I'm trying to find its a good Installer, I've heard its not a easy job so I would like to find somebody that has experience on Diff specially s2000.....My other option is to ship my diff to Hardtopguy which is not bad but if I could find somebody local it will be awsome....Thanks a lot...

I had mine done by HardTopGuy.
If you want it done locally, you might talk to P1 Automotive.

I've got a 4.57 and I love it. Have fun.

I called them and they want $800 for the Job and thats me taking the diff off so thats kinda High...
That's way high even if it is a touchy job.
P1 was recommended as doing really good work, and that's probably true but they ain't cheap are they?
I hope you find someone good and reasonable locally. Sounds like you have a couple of leads. The safest move would be to pull the Diff out and send it to HardTopGuy. I think he still does this through Rick's website. He's done enough that he knows exactly how to set it up and you have less chance of excessive gear whine or early failure.
Good luck!

P1 is always super expensive. they charged my friend 800 bucks to do a clutch job. i had to slap him in the face a few times once i found out how much he paid.
if you search online for stratacastor(the guitar...sp?) he does the best job according to the board and is teamed up with hardtopguy. its worth the effort in shipping them the carrier. i had some gears in my rx7 done. they were quiet for a year, then the rear started to squel like a pig.
and ron got his gears because hes a lucky bastard and won them
