Just wanted to spread my happiness since I just found out that my insurance is dropping from $1240/yr to $1040/yr. As everyone elses premiums go up, mine just keep on dropping.
BTW - thats full lease coverage for a 25yo male
Dave
P.S. Recent Ticket History
12/01 - 13 over in SC - $50 fine - 2 points
4/03 - 27 over in MD - $375 lawyer $200 fine - 0 points
7/03 - 31 over in VA - $300 fine and 30 day license suspension - 5 points?
I'm a bad boy

The drop is most likely related to the fact that you turned 25 inbetween the last time you renewed the insurance and this time. Depending on your Bdate you may be due a refund for all the time you were 25 and paying the 24 YO rate.
Then again I am just guessing. You come out on top either way. Congrats

I've got you beat Diego.......insuring my S is $342.31(6 months) that's $ 684.62 yr.
You guys outta look at higher deductables(hint: raise up to $500.00, they don't like being nickel & dimed), multiple car discounts(worth-$251.60 my case), also make sure your anti-lock brakes are listed( -$6.00) and listing your home's insurance with the same company(- $65.00). Make sure you ask for their good driver rate. <---- Unless your driving record sucks.
Also, if married, list all insurace through your wife as the principle driver.
It helps to grow old, nothing can be done about that. I'm 39 so I 'm hoping for another drop next year.
Oh yea, it helps to invest in a Radar Detector too.

Kidding Dave. Really sorry to hear about this. Take care and be watchful of the law.
I go Tuesday to fight my running the red light ticket.
