How much do you pay for insurance in NC (I am only 19 :-()
I am moving out of NJ and down to NC (Wilmington) to live by school.
I was wondering how much I can expect to pay for insurance.
I am 19
1 Ticket for a non moving violation..no real tickets.
No accidents
And I will have a good student discount.
I will have to be on my own plan as my parents will still be in NJ..
How much can I expect to pay?
The insurance in NJ is what prohibited me from buying an S2k last year, and going with my Audi A4 instead.
TIA
-Bryan

Great to have another Jersey boy in the state! My family lives in Edgewater and I was born out in Hoboken.
Anyway, WIlmington is nice, you'll like it. The insurance here is pretty average. I've heard the insurance being very high in Jersey so let me give you some numbers.
I am 25 with 2 vehicles on the policy. My S2000 and my wife's Pilot, she's 26.
Yearly, our insurance with the Traveler's Indemnity Group gives us full coverage and NO deductibles with an annual premium of $1100.00.
I believe I have 1 old ticket somewhere in there but nothing else and same goes for my wife.
I use Stallings & Thomas as an agent and I have been with them for well over 6 years now. Life, Home and all is under their policy. Fantastic SERVICE!!!
252-633-3111, ask for Judy Zoccho. This woman is a GOD. My only claim has been the windshield of the S2000 and that was such a breeze, I paid $0.

I would say around $1200 a year. Mine was in that range when I first moved to NC......19, with a clean record. Now I pay around $220 a month. I will never just pay a ticket again.
