HONDA CD PREVIEW...

It varies by racetrack. I do know that you need a minimum of a 4 point roll bar to run a convertible on any course at VIR. Which sucks, or else I'd have been up there 2 times this year already. . .
I'm actually surprised its not required on every race track though. Not every convertible is as safe as ours in a rollover.

Mulder's pissed off about this thing, huh?
I, too, was expecting a lot more out of this introduction and revision...
Who knows... I have some room in the garage around my way recently...
Mike, you realize it's 'CR' not 'CD' right...
Gotta be CW above all... Keep the black OEM HT... Replace the yellow inserts with red and, hot damn, I'm there...
I can live with the body work...

Wow. That's disappointing but not surprising.
WTH is Honda doing? They are the laughing stock of F1 right now having spent $300M on the design and testing of the 07 car so they can go a full second slower than last year.
And the whole "green" movement related to their F1 program is a sham that even their drivers don't want to be associated with.
Now, their only formerly beautiful roadster has been beaten with an ugly stick.
And MAN, is it ugly!
At least it doesn't have the globe painted on it.

I think those responding negatively had hoped for the CR to be a true race car and be the standard like the AP1 did when it was first introduced. The dissapointment (and anger on my part) is that instead of producing a serious race car, Honda has chosen to pay lip service and put bangles on the car. This car is a mockery of the AP1 and, frankly, diminishes its good name.
The CR is nothing but a cheap ricer version of a what it could have been and will be laughed at universally.
