I am going to order this week. My S is an MY00 so I can't do glass without work to the frame. Unless you know how to do that that is lol. Also I did not know about the install kit can you send me a link to get one? And yes we can do it in my garage at my house.

Hi guys, please post in advance time and date when you are doing this. I would like to help out and observe the install.

Looking to put a soft top on my CR in the future.

Hmmm...if all goes well, perhaps I _can_ consider a CR in my future.

get the conversion kit. It's not hard at ALL. Takes all of 10 minutes, and is well worth it for the glass window.

Like charlie said, get the conversion kit. comes with everything to mod for glass. there is one difference, glass doesn't fold down as far as plastic.other than that, it's worth it. i'm going to be tied up this weekend and the next, after that i'm free to help. the rivets and washers we can pick up at a hardware store. sounds like a tech day at your house josh.

haha sounds good to me! And thats totally fine I'm just looking to get it done by the end of the month so yeah lol. And I'm assuming the glass window modification kit topsonline.com speaks of is what we need right?

http://www.topsonline.com/index.php?Depart...rmodelID=746000

Also would any of you all say it is worth it to get the defroster capable glass and/or upgrade to the stayfast cloth for the top?

If it doesn't have it before, it will be a pita because then you would have to wire it up from the front, keep it simple. the top with the mod is perfect.
