Please PM me the year, miles, and contact info for the salvage yard. I'm very interested in buying and parting this guy out. Actually, you may be able to buy it back directly from USAA. If you're willing to contact them and find out, I'd appreciate it.

As Lazy said, this was to let folks know she should be available soon for salvage.

Soon as I hear back from my claims adjuster about what their plan is for salvage, I'll post it on here. In the meantime, here are all the details. 2005 AP2, California kept until June. New top and seats were installed in June of 2010 after the original top was slashed and the seats stolen in rash of thefts we had in San Diego a little while back. Front tires were purchased in June of 2011 right before I drove her cross-country- probably 5,000 miles on them tops. Rear tires were replaced in November of 2010, maybe 8000 miles on them. Overall mileage is a hair under 60,000- don't have the exact number on me right now, sorry.

Yeah just keep me posted as I am interested in the tranny on that car. Sorry she has to go out like this but she won't go to waste with this community I'm sure! Let us know what you are gonna replace her with too
