I'm ordering my diffusers this morning, probably USDM Smoked. Two questions...where do I get the side markers from? Rick's site says 'coming soon.' And what are people doing about bulbs? thanks.

I got my clear side markers from Ricks (although from your post it sounds like he may be sold out). You can go to MUZ accessories. MUZ's webiste can be found in the sponsor section.

I do not believe you will find any sponsors yet offering smoked sidemarkers. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here. Clear ones...like Portland said...are available at Rick's and Muz's to name a couple.

Check eBay... But also PM sky-chicken... Seems I read posts once or twice where he might have had a German connection for smoked sidemarkers .

Otherwise...get clear, and search the boards for some "spray on tint" that folks have apparently used with satisfactory results on their clear sidemarkers...

That's about your only options currently. Buuuut!...sidemarkers are a piece of cake to swap out. So if you cannot get smoked sidemarkers in time, my recommendation would be to wait for them to be available on Rick's site and to order them when they are available (rather than have clear sidemarkers & smoked corners). But again...there might be hope in the spray tint option as well....

Go with Dave's "stealth" option! He paints most of the bulb silver so that the only "orange" left is the area that is pointed towards the reflectors inside the housing... They flash as bright as you'd expect and you can barely see any hint of orange when they're not lit up! I like 'em!

Quick Note, I ordered my USDM Smoked diffusers from Rick this morning and my clear side markers from Muz as well! I'll probably just stick with the amber bulbs behind the smokes for now.

Also, if anyone wants to trade a Sunday spot for my Saturday (Noon) spot, I'd be glad to. Just let me know. I'd rather have it done Sunday than Sat. Thanks.
