Hanging out in Clemson?
Upstate SC folks,
I will be working full time in the Clemson area starting next week, Mondays - Thursdays until the end of March. I'm hoping there will be a few S2K get-togethers in the area and maybe a drive or 2. I'd enjoy getting to meet some new folks and seeing some old friends.
Some weekends, I'll talk Ron into coming down instead of me going home to Charlotte, so weekends are OK too. Hope to have the chance to see some of you!

Welcome! If you don't mind me asking, where will you be working? We haven't really had a true S2000 meet in Clemson in a while, so I think were past due for one.

Hi Sheila,
Welcome to the Upstate. We will definitely have to get a group together for some mountain runs, assuming that we get some rain to wash the sand off the roads.

If you need to take a mid-day break from the action at Oconee, take SC Hwy 130 north towards Salem, then keep north on up to the NC/SC line at Whitewater Falls. On the way, the road passes the entrance to Duke Energy's Bad Creek Project, so maybe you could find a work-related excuse for this drive.
An epic road is US Hwy 178 up to the Eastern Divide and back. This can be part of a loop through the back roads over to US 276 near Caesar's Head. We'll save that for a weekend GTG.
