Default Hail damage sucks

well, for those of you not from around greenville, nc, we caught a good bit of hail this afternoon and I wanted to know what some of your experiences were with the removal of these dents. I used PDR a few weeks ago for a small dent behind my door and was satisfied with the results with the exception that i now have a hole in my fender liner from where they punched in. Theres probably more than 50 noticeable dents around the car on every horozontal surface(top of the doors, front and rear fenders, etc...). Ive searched around about PDR and see that it is sometimes not recommended for aluminum body peices but have found a lot of conflicting info on this. My ideal situation would be for them to replace & repaint the damaged peices but i doubt that will be the case. my last question would be if anyone knew of a hands down BEST body shop in eastern NC that i could trust to get my baby, with nearly flawless paint, back to its original condition.

thanks

Sounds like an innsurance claim is in order. I'd have a real body shop look at it and make recommendations.

That sucks man, those storms stayed just to the North of us as they tracked down east. If you have comp. insurance I would let them handle it

insurance isnt the issue. the claim has already been filed and im now just looking for a good shop if i can find a better one around the area. i havent heard anything bad about the one im going to, (american auto body) but if theres a shop that someone knows can do good work, specifically on our cars, id rather travel to get the job done right.

I got hail damage on the Z71 tahoe I got THE DAY BEFORE (Tues)! I'm taking my truck to Garriss Body Shop in Kinston. The number is 522-0777. They have done ALL of my work in the past and I have always been absolutely amazed at their work! The owner's wife, Rose, has a 2003 Silverstone, so I know that they will take extra good care of your S2000. I'll be down there on Friday to get my estimate ($500 deductable). If only I would have waited one more day to get it.

I forgot to add that they are a direct repair shop for all major insurance companies and use PPG paint, which is what Honda uses from the factory! Lifetime warranty on paint too.

My truck is the same way. I think my hood will have to be replaced altogether. It had to happen the day after I got the dag on thing too.
