After hearing for the last two years how great Zaino is, I ordered it and received a couple of bottle os the #2. I was going to put it on yesterday but it was raning when I got home. I am aiming for one layer tonight and one layer tomorrow assuming the weather permits. I will let you know the results. I know airgate swears by it so I am sure it is a great product.

Proper bond requires either a coat of Z1 first or the use of ZFX, an accellerator. Hope you ordered some of this too.

All the Zaino product info I've seen says no. You can PM Steve Treece, the Carolinas distributor and ask him. Also check zainobros.com

 

btw, I highly recommend the ZFX. Using it you can get multiple coats on in a day.

 

I agree, I usually like to put on a couple coats and with zfx the polish takes alot less time to dry.

Did you speak with anyone at Zaino or just order it online? Used properly, the 2 bottles of polish will last you forever!! It only takes 1/2oz to apply 3 coats to your S2k...ask anyone who's used Zaino for a while or who was present at the Detailing Seminar I hosted a couple of months ago.

You also need the following items:

ZFX
Z-6 Gloss Enhancer
Z-7 Car Wash

You really need to speak with someone knowledgeable about the product BEFORE you use it. It isn't applied like wax!

Call me if you like and I'll be glad to help you. I can even get the products you need to you before the Holiday weekend.

 

I also highly recommend the ZFX. It takes forever for the Z2 alone to dry. If not ZFX then at least get Z1 to use before you start your coats of Z2.
