Myself, the Wifey & Kid (13yr old snowboarder) are looking forward to being there for the whole Christmas week, anyone have any " Insider " suggestions?

Well, right now they have 18 degrees, 18 inches of natural snow, 24" base and 8 lifts and 30 trails with another 2 trails expected open by Sunday PM.

I'll be skiiing not snowshoeing .

Never been there. Just looking for tips and suggestions. Staying at Highland House on top of the Mountain.

I had to read your response before I even caught what Perry had said.

Snowshoe = place, not activity or footwear.

there's one long trail that winds around for about 15min. good for leisurely riding. also, if you have purchased your lift tix in advance, take a good look at the dates, they'll charge $20 to get back up the hill. have fun though.

you have got to do "Cup Run" if it's open when you go, which it should be with the great skiing weather they are having up there. it is a downhill course that they use sometimes for racing. it's not too hard though and you can get up to some serious speed, which i hope you like considering you have an S2000 it is one of my favorite places in the east to go to ski.
hope you have a great trip, i think you will love it
