Kind of makes me wish Thanksgiving was next week

Question is did the deep fry the turkey or cook it in the oven?

I'm tempted to make a joke about snobby Porsche owners and instant Karma, but I can't. I'm just too disturbed by the whole thing. What kind of loonies are you going to be hanging out with in the UMW?

Seriously though, that's a shame. The new Boxster S is the heat. It's a pity to have one bombed by a turkey. (Now there's a sentence you don't type every day).

Someone needs to call President Bush and tell him we have found the "Weapon of Mass Destruction" and it needs to refrigerated or cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Porsche people aren't aaaaall snobs... I was involved in the PCA in the northeast for years. Most of the people in the club were just like us. They were passionate about their cars and they just liked to have fun. At the track events, the guys (and galls) with the big money, cup cars in the enclosed trailers would be right there helping the guy with the cheepo 914 with street tires.... why can't we all just get along....

Easy now. Did you miss the part about it being a joke?

Still, I suppose I'm propagating a negative (and generally untrue) stereotype. So let me take this opportunity to apologize to all the Porsche owners out there ... except the snobby ones.

Anyway, that's not what this thread is about. It's about turkeys falling from the sky. Kablooey!

it's cool... I just re-read my post and realized how it sounds... chalk it up to several years of trying to live down a stereotype .. and several glasses of wine at dinner... unfortunately there was no breath-a-lizer attached to my keyboard/login...

... call me sensitive.. I still cry when nice cars get wrecked in the movies...all I can say is, thank goodness ostriches don't run free....

Those photos are classic. Man, I think I'll really try to avoid turkeys in the future. Not when eating, just when driving.

Somebody bump this thread during Thanksgiving time.
