Jan and Feb... but even then some days it is in the 60s. Your 100 degree weather and our 100 degree weather is different though.. its very humid here.

For me the two months that the top doesn't go down will be July and August. Just too damn hot (and humid) for me.

January and February, however, are PERFECT!!! If it happens to be >40 on my way to work, the top is down. Otherwise, I'll just put it down on the way back.

Welcome to the Carolinas... I think you'll love it here. Truth is, not matter what time of year it is, there is at least some spurts of top-down weather.

Where exactly will you be living?

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome...

As of right now it's got an AEM CAI and exhaust (not sure what type) and nothing else is really planned. One thing I am looking into is installing the aeroscreen, since mine was not equipped with one. Anyone ever install one of these before? I was looking for a DIY on this and didn't really come up with anything.

I'll be out there late July looking for houses or apartments somewhere in between Sumter and Columbia area (leaning more towards Columbia).

I didn't find it to be all that big of a "secret"... i found it the first day I had the car. I was expecting something super crazy, and when i found it i was like "oh, that's it?"

OK.. well... in that case!

Open it and look at the bottom. You will see two indentions. Drill the center of those, thread your bolts through the windscreen (after appling some double sided tape to keep it from rattling) and you are done. Easy mod!

Welcome to the community. It's nice to see another arm forces guy around. I was in the Army with the 101st Airborne division for 4 years.
