Just graduated from Arizona State and commisioned into the Air Force, so I went out and bought myself a little present today. Actually, I have been looking around for the past month or so and finally pulled the trigger today. It's a black MY00 with 46k on the odometer. I'm gonna be stationed out in South Carolina and I leave on my cross-country expedition next Friday.

I'm lookin forward to what S. Carolina has to offer... I hear nothing but good things about it and I can't wait.

Here's a pic:

Thanks... I absolutley love this thing, I have found myself making the absurd reasons to drive it today despite the 100+ degree heat. I did get to put the top down and go for a nice little cruise this evening. I'm hoping that once I get to South Carolina the top will be down permanantly.

I know the feeling..... coing up on 3 years and I still find reasons to drive it. I think there were about 2 months that the top didnt go down this year total.. thats it. Its definatly convertable weather here... unless we are having a hurricane and even then I think there are still a few souls......

When are you moving? We have many events during the year, the best being the Dragon events. We do alot of MEDs too.

I'm moving next Friday but I stop in Alabama for a month en route to Carolina for training. I will end up there July 28, then it's time to find a home for me and my new baby. So the top goes up for roughly 2 months???... I can't wait

Jan and Feb... but even then some days it is in the 60s. Your 100 degree weather and our 100 degree weather is different though.. its very humid here.

Yeah, I went to Field Training (similar to Basic Training) in Panama City in the middle of July and August... talk about humidity. How bad does it get in the summer there?

Welcome,

Nothing looks better than a clean Berlina S2K!

Any mods other than the lack of side badges?
