Default FT: 18" Rota D2's for AP2 V1's or V2's

Name: Chad B.
Location: Winston Salem, NC
Means of Contact: PM, Email at cbrinkle1207@yahoo.com or just call 336-403-5767
Price: $550 OBO

Hey guys well I'm trying to sell my S and I've had a lot of interest but most people seem to want the AP2 wheels. So I'm looking to trade my D2's for some AP2 V1 or V2's plus $550 OBO. Must be in very good condition with good tires. My wheels were just bought on 4/3/09 and only have a couple hundred miles on them as well as the front tires. The wheels are in perfect condition without a scratch, curb or anything on them. Will probably be attending the meet on May 16th in Cary at the Honda dealership if anybody would like to meet there. Dont really want to drive any further since I'm trying to keep the miles off my car since its for sale.

Fronts: 18"x8" +50 Offset-Brand New BFGoodrich Super Sport 225/40/18 Tires 95% Tread Left
Rears: 18"x9" +42 Offset-BFGoodrich G-Force Sport 265/35/18 Tires have 6K on them-75% Tread Left

Thanks,
Chad

^Chad isn't looking for new AP1 wheels, he wants used AP2 V1 or V2 wheels. Those can be had for 500-600 a set with tires. i sold mine for 600 with tires.

Haha thanx for clarifying Rich, not sure where Parkerdt was coming from with that, I'm guessing he just misread.

Ah sorry - don't know why I misread AP1 - maybe because I'm trying to sell mine. But my point still stands - AP2 wheels are gonna run new about $16-1700, and used in the $6-700 range. I don't see how $650 needs to change hands in this particular swap, is all.
First of all its $550 or best offer. 2nd of all I dont know why you keep talking about new AP2 wheels and this isnt EBAY like you earlier mentioned. Brand new D2's with very good tires that were $130/e new and mounted and balanced for a set of used AP2 wheels with good tires. Seems like a pretty even swap to me.

Anyways anyone interested?

You'll probably have better luck trying to trade straight up. I can't see anyone giving you cash on top of their wheels in this situation.

^You guys just don't know what these wheels normally go for used. I sold the exact same wheels with almost new tires a month ago for $1000. You don't pay $1000 for used AP2 wheels and tires. You pay nearly half that.
Keep trying Chad, you will sell them.
There are several AP2 wheels for sale now on the for sale forum.
If the trade doesn't work, sell your D2's out right for 1k and then buy some AP2 wheels.
Good luck

Or knock $1000-$1500 off the price of the car and let the purchaser provide his own wheels and rubber.
