Default Driving today with an excellent 70 degrees and every convertible top down except. . .

. . .for those damn Miatas!!!

I don't understand it! Literally, I saw 2 Jaguar XJ8's with the top down today, a Sunfire (I know, but hey), a Mercedes SLK, an SC430 (Nice!!!), a Chevy Camaro and of course my S2000! During this time, I must have seen about 6 or 7 Miatas. . .ALL of them had their TOPS UP!!! Why!!! Then, as I am cruising to my office, at the red light, a Miata comes right up behind me and guess what, the TOP was UP!!!

I just don't get it. . . AHhHh. . .what the hell do I care, I had FUN today!!! Any others???

Well, I can speak for VA S2K and myself! Cuz we went runnin' around for some new roads for this spring . We had a blast. Gotta give credit to a couple Z3s that had their tops down when we were running about. But then there was this red Miata at an intersection... Yup...you guessed it! Top up! And he *almost* pulled out between our two Spas. HA! He was embarassed at his lack of convertible enthusiasm and applied his left foot firmly on his brake to allow "real ragtop owners" the right to pass...

Ahh, good ol' January 25th... Great time out today!

i had the top down all day except on my trip to greenville nc today, went up there for a dropjaw mag event, a ton of people got pulled over for tire spinning, a couple put on some great smoke shows lol and the other cars that were convertibles stuck out the cold like me driving around the loop at around 50 degrees with it down

also raced a fox body lx stang before i even got out of town, killed him so bad lol along with my friends (at least they beat him) and he came back for more trying to do a flyby so i uh fixed that

great weather today until around 8pm

OMG!!! What a coincidence! I was going to be in Greenville last night as well. I heard that 400+ cars were going to be in town, was it true? Damn, if I would hvae known another S2000 was going to be represented, I would have driven to attend. It's only 40 minutes from my house.

So how was the turn out? Were the Fast and the Furious cars really on display? Let me know. . .
