Default Dinner In Charlotte Tonight? (7/16)

So, I just talked to Hardtopguy a few minutes ago. He and Joe (SanMarinoCpe) are en route to Charlotte towing the NSX and expect to get in around 8pm. They asked about doing dinner after they arrived. Anyone else up for dinner around 8:30ish?

Any suggestions for places out near 485 and Independence? I've been to the Bonefish Grill, and it was good. I also think there's a Carraba's nearby, but I'm not sure of what else is out there.

Any other takers?

Sorry to miss you....headed out of town for the weekend.

There is a Carraba's on Independence at the Hwy 51 interchange (Matthews Festival Shopping Center/Home Depot). There's also an Outback on the opposite side of Independence just one light down. (It'll be on your right if you're headed away from 485). I recommend Bonefish as well...good eats! Downtown Matthews also has a cool upscale Bistro called "Dearstynes" and there's a Vinnie's Sardine if you're looking for more of a Florida Bar-type place (also downtown Matthews).

Of course, since sometimes guys will be guys, there's also a Hooters on Independence near 485; it's behind the Krispy Kreme/Harley Davidson dealership. Have fun!

Carraba's, Outback, Hop's, Applebees's, Bertucci's(Italian).

Farther down 485 is Macaroni Grill, and if you go to the Carolina Place mall there's Olive Garden, Tony Roma's, and a couple places.

Bonefish will have the shortest wait. Outback and Carabbas will have a 2 hour wait. Are you up for mexican? We were thinking of heading to Salsa's on Sardis and Monroe (next to Indep. and Sardis).

Bryan and I will join you. Give us a call and we will meet up.

I've never waited at Carrabas more than 30 minutes, and I had Salsa's for lunch. I'll go wherever though, just let me know.

Since you had Salsa's for lunch I suggest someplace else. Here are three choices:

Cajun Yard Dog: Providence and 51
Bertuccis: Independence and 51
Carrabbas: This is fine if you do not think there will be a wait.

But really, anyplace is fine.

Let's do Carrabas if anyone can agree. I'll even go ahead and put our name in if I know how many to expect and what time.
