If your car has been setting out in temps below 32deg. the top can crack or split when you put it up or down.

 

Isn't that only if you have the plastic back window?

Edit: But I know exactly what you mean. I went to test drive an ap1 at carmax like forever ago and I asked if I could put the top down and it cracked the plastic back window. I was like oops. And I didn't end up buying the car either lol.
