There is also the Triangle Wine Company on the corner of McCrimmons Pkwy and Davis Drive. They have over 1000 different types of beer there, as well as 8 kegs always on tap, and one cask always on tap. I'm not sure how well known the place is but I know of it because it isn't far from my work office. If you were to stop there on your way traveling east I would get off at at the I-40 Davis Drive exit, but then re-enter I-40 at Airport Blvd.

Cheers!

RedCelica, speaking of Big Boss, they are going to have their annual "Casktober" festival in 2 days, this Thursday night. 10 different cask beers on tap and 4 food trucks will be on site. I went last year and it was a fun time. I will be there again this Thursday!

I'm overwhelmed by the huge number of places to buy and drink craft beer out that way.

Well NC is really big on the micro brew culture. North Carolina is 3rd in the country in number of micro breweries, behind CA and CO.

We like to drink the good stuff

actually fairly cheap imo. I came from a smaller city in GA and it's just a little more to live in Raleigh. Not terrible by any means. Gas is freakin expensive though.

I'm not driving out there so no S for me. Got a designated driver for myself!

Feel free to look for me though. I'll be in a blue polo and brown shorts, with a short brunette (and a few other friends).

Around here it's around 650 a month for a one bedroom apt in a decent area. The gas is usually the cheapest in the country because we have a refinery in Memphis.
