Cracked Valve Retainer?

If you got a small mirror and a flash light, you might be able to peek at the underside. worth a shot. don't mean to sound like a smart ass, just trying to help lol. another thing to try is boroscoping the cylinder. its also possible you might have a blown head gasket around that cylinder. just trying to think of all possibilities.

Checked today. Retainer does not seem to be cracked. They all seem fine.

Getting a valve adjustment. Too much work for me. lol

No Ap2 retainers do not have this problem. They are the standard repair part for the ap1 motors.
