I have not accually got a quote from an accual dealer, but i was at home depot and I was 90% sure they could not copy my key but i asked for the hell of it. He ofcourse said no. Then he was like I had to make a copy of my honda "smart" key and the dealership charged me 50 bucks or so for just the key... back in 1998. He had a civic. So considering I had an 2000 S2000 and its not 1998 anymore. I do not even want to know what they would charge for another key/pad.

key and programming is around $76, and the remote is around $93,.. total around $176.22 total with tax,.. that is if you go through the parts department.. if you go through the service department, for some reason they charge a bit more for the programming..
also,.. if you just need a spare key only to open the doors (but not start the car, since it has no immobilizer chip) they're like 10-15 bucks,.. good to have if you lock yourself out, but does no good if you lose one..
hope that helps!

1 master key from Honda with the "Speical" S2000 Logo on it cost $108 for the blank and a half an hours of labor to program and cut.
