Sheila, we would like to meet somewhere for the drive west. Around 09:00 works for us. We just need a place to meet.

I would like to meet you guys up there on Saturday. I have to Autocross on Sunday or I would make it both days.

Hi, Sheila
What mobile radio channel(s) do you think you (guys/girls) will be using next weekend. I'm still unsure what time I will get in the area, and I thought I could go ahead and set-up my radio's (tenatively). Especially since I use them so little I keep forgetting how to use them.
Happy driving

A set of the radios greatly enhances the driving experience, and lets us warn each other of hazards, etc. Also, for those of you who haven't been, cell phones don't work on the Dragon (at least mine doesn't), so the little FRS radios are great!
I also suggest you invest in a headset or earpiece, as you can't easily shift and use the radios otherwise!
Other "stuff" to bring:
Sunscreen
Camera
Hat
Car wash supplies (the lodge provides a hose and towels for drying cars.)

Since I don't have sub-channels, how about channel 13? (My lucky number!)
Sorry....I didn't realize some newer radios had fewer channels, and don't go all the way to 13.
LET'S PLAN ON USING CHANNEL 4, no sub-channel on Friday/Saturday.

Still sad in New Bern.
I am a bit happy that Ron and Sheila are coming to DragonBall Run and my bud w1ngman. But still soooooo very sad that I can't make the unofficial run this coming weekend.
