9:15- Meet at Cracker Barrel on I-85/Billy Graham Pkwy.

9:30 - Leave Cracker Barrel

I-85 South to US-74 West

US-74 West to NC-9 North

NC-9 North to NC-9/US-64 Lake Lure to NC-9 North

NC-9 North to I40 (exit 64)

I-40 West to Hendersonville Rd South (exit 50)

12:00 - Arrive in Asheville and stop at Atlanta Bread Co. for lunch. Here is the address:

I-40 West to US-74 (exit 27)

I'm in. Leaving from Charlotte. I just gotta find how to get to the meeting area from Highland Creek. I'll meet up though.

 

From Highland Creek, go out the front main entrance and make a left. Go to the end and make a right on Mallard Creek. Go to the light and make a left on Mallard Creek/Prosperity Church. Then take I85 South to Billy Graham Parkway exit.

Oh and welcome to Charlotte.

Just a suggestion on the route...

If we take 74 to 9 up through Lake Lure and on up to I-40, 9 is a beautiful drive, and it would only add 30 min to our drive, but on top down roads rather than the interstate.

I'm not an interstate guy.

 

That's what I was thinking. I took that route one time when I went from The Dragon to check out Charlotte for the first time. Nice drive.

 

Any route is fine by me.

I do not have printer for the Mac yet, so if I could delegate someone to print out copies of the route I would much appreciate it.
