Hi, Gang!

I've got to be at a seminar at 8:30AM tomorrow (Charlotte)...around the intersection of I-85 & Billy Graham Pkwy.

My question is...can you recommend a general travel path, that may help me avoid the moring parking lot of I-85 or similar situations.

I don't mind going a bit out of my way, to not have to experience such traffic woes !!!

If anyone has any ideas, then I would appreciate your input.

Put a flashing blue light on your dash. That'll clear a path.

There is a serious backup every single business day at I-85 and I-77 due to the stupid , insane , crazy , dangerous , asinine , clusterf*@k of an intersection design . On the bright side, we do have a rarely used HOV lane now on I-77 south .
So what you are saying is...

Well...traffic went fairly smoothly...down 49, then I thought I would skirt around 485 E...traffic was moving nicely...until Johnston Rd and then became a parking lot. So...I exited onto Johnston Rd and relied on TomTom to get me to the seminar...which it did...but I surely could never retrace my path !!!

Thanks for your suggestion, Jamie !
