Since Hardtopguy will be in Charlotte tomorrow evening, let's get together for dinner. He's staying out near 521 and 485 in Pineville. Any locals want to suggest a restaurant? It's been about 5 years since I've spent any significant time in Pineville. I seem to remember an Olive garden that's right off of 485 near the mall, but that's about it -- and I'm not sure how close that is to 521. Ya'll chime in and we'll figure something out. Would love to, but can't... As for dinner: I would stay far away from Carolina Place mall today / tonight it will be traffic hell with all of the last minute shoppers. Aim for a place along South Blvd or 521... Pineville proper has a few restaurants or take 521 out to Ballentyne. (Fox & Hound, Waldhorn, some Mexican places in Pineville or even the Cajun Queen.) Have fun.

 

Good call. Looks like the Fox & Hound is just a couple of blocks from Jeff's hotel, so let's shoot for Fox & Hound @ 6:30. I'll give Jeff a call here in a little while and make sure the timing works for him. The address is 15235 John J. Delaney Drive, and it looks to be right off 521 about a mile or so from 485.

 

Bah.... looks like everyone's either sick, out of town, or not checking the board. I just got a call from my sister -- she's got car problems (blew out 2 tires hitting a curb), so I have to go to Greenwood. I tried calling Jeff, but he must be in Rock Hill, because it's giving me a 'cell customer unavailable' message. If anyone decides to try dinner, give me a call and I'll give you Jeff's number.
