So, the Columbia area USED to have a scene a few years ago...but cops shut that down due to stupid people fighting, stupid people littering, and stupid people racing at over 130mph on the interstate after the meets.

Now a new group of car enthusiasts have decided to start a scene again in Columbia, but for the Carolinas as a whole. Check their group out on facebook, they do 2+ meets/cruises a month and is open to ANY form of car enthusiast.

Just figured I would share a tid bit of info.


******MEET ON THE 28th AFTER THE S2KI MEET!********
the meet is approaching fast! remember the event starts at 7 pm. bring your friends out with you! we are all hoping this will be a big turn out. a lot of planning has gone into this event and none of us want it to be a bust.

The meet will be in a parking lot, but we will NOT tolerate any illegal activities. No burnouts, drifting, donuts, aggressive driving or speeding, or racing! Please don't bring your drama! We want everyone to come out and have a good time! If you are coming from out of town, you are welcome to come early. If you want to meet up, let one of us know. There's plenty of places to check out in Columbia and you can do some exploring on your own before the meet if you'd like. All Cars are invited, no one will be discriminated or misjudged.

Thanks. I'm going to show up. I remember when they use to do that back when I was in high school. Looking at the Facebook page, it seems like there is a lot of people from the younger crowd showing up. Hopefully people don't act stupid and they keep doing it this time.

Ive been out to one meet with them....you occaisionally get someone revving but besides that its a no BS/chill type of deal. I wish more people would look into this. Again ill throw it on the original post and edit the title

What time is the meet on Saturday, got a note left on my windshield about it today lol....but curious so I dont show up to an empty parking lot. Thanks
