Default Car problems pt.2

So i went to the beach this weekend. Made it ALL the way to Myrtle Beach and my car decides to act up. It seems that when my car was starting from a stop it would roll fine until I went from 1st gear to 2nd, and from 2nd to 3rd. It seems after the car has been running for an hour or so that these symptoms happen. Now as far as the symptom is concerned... what happens is that upon entering a higher gear the car will just bog down completely. I at this point have to push clutch in and give it gas then it will start to go. The car ran fine after I changed the plugs but I noted that there was alot of oil on the plugs, so I will pull them today and check for that. At one point the I could not get the car to start moving but it did not stall. It just went down to idle. Unfortuntely since I just started working again I dont have the money to take the car to a shop to get it checked so I am trying to atleast assess the situation myself. Any help here would greatly be appreciated.

Dood,

I predicted that your problems were more serious than the plugs. It sounds like you've got fouled plugs now indicating a number of possible problems including inproper fuel-air mixture, bad coil pack(s), or even cylinder compression/leak problem. Take it to a shop and have them do diagnostics.

This isn't something to play around with. You may be able to correct it now, but if you wait, your only option might be to replace your engine.

Good luck!

Fwiw, I got a recommendation that Triad Auto in Greensboro is a reputable place to take your Honda, if you're looking for someplace cheaper than the dealer.
