I went to check my status but their site is updating. I just installed it on the second computer I got for Christmas, BRING IT ON! Sounds like your going to whip me installing it on a bunch of servers though! My new computer completes a task so much faster! I'm going to start hijacking my friends computers with my username to try to get up in the rankings. Everyone should join in and get the S2000 team to #1!

Just a reminder, if you originally signed up for the cancer cure, you need to check it to make sure your still on that task. It eventually switches you to other projects unless you specify to stay on the cancer project, which was my whole intention.

its pretty much like the SETI program & eats up any idle CPU time your computer has for medical research
hopefully this is a non-profit company, but i really dont know.

FF2Skip has it on his computer, it is pretty cool except for the fact that if you loose your internet connection around the time it is trying to upload the results it will dog the machine almost to a halt.
He lost internet access for a couple of daysa and the program just kept trying to look for the server.... the computer was painfully slow... I had to end task it and remove it from start up until his iconnection was back up.
I'd volunteer my computer but I just switched to apple after 20 years of using PCs... .
