I have averaged 32mpg I think for a full tank in the S. IIRC it was somewhere in the 325 range.

I laid down 45 MPG in my ex-gf's 06 5sp Jetta TDI coming back from vacation in Florida. Would have been better but we hit tons of traffic...

I have got more than 340ish and the fuel light was still on i think i could have push it a little more until i completely shut down. I drove 3000 miles from WASHINGTON STATE TO NORTH CAROLINA. That is when i was getting like 340ish.

 

I work with a guy who drove his truck from Alaska to South Carolina

 

drove to the dragon and back - packed with fuel and got 323miles with a little fuel left and calculated 25 mpg. i drove the hell out of it - to and from the dragon - i was surprised as hell that i got ~25mpg after driving like that..

 

i drove from nc to alaska and back. 5680 miles one way haha, had to stop and get an oil change in canada. stayed there for a little over a month. i think il fly next time..
