they could have been yours
I know!! They look great on Daves car though!
I stuck with some heavy (not as heavy as my D2s) 18" wheels. I guess I like the bling!!

I think the best gas mileage I ever got was 275 miles, but I am always on the turbo, and that 275 was a lot of highway miles.

Meh, I do much more than that regularly with my daily driver.

Your title does'nt say it has to be in the S2k

Best was 609 Miles per tank in my VW Jetta TDI, 14.5 gallon tank = 42 MPG

When comparing range, Diesels Rule! Some people over at TDIclub.com have seen 60+mpg and more.

Those are probably "hypermilers". I have heard of people (normally drive hybrids), that do anything and everything to get the highest possible MPG. It's like a challenge to some people. They will coast whenever possible, drive well below the speed limit to get to the speed that gets best MPG, and even tailgate tractor trailers to draft. There's nothing wrong with that stuff. Some people just like watching their mileage gauge more than their speedometer. Not me !

I took my car to Charleston, SC from Greenville, SC and was doing really well on the gas mileage. I probably would have got 335 to 345 but I hit the non highway roads and my range just plummeted. I usually get about 280 running back and forth up and down I85 to work.

My max was 338 on a tank back when I had OEM tires. Ever since then I barely get over 300 on a highway tank.
