building my s2k

A 2JZ is a bit of a novelty.
Turbo/SC... keep some of that money for maintenance.
I say keep the motor stock and make the rest of the car fast. Then go to a top notch driving school. You will have a blast and walk a way an educated driver.
Either way, keep us posted.

If I had an extra $10k I wouldn't spend it on modding a car, I'd spend it buying the car that is the next level up. When you mod like this you basically say goodbye to reliability and its a huge sinkhole of time as well as money. My advice is just go buy a 300-400 HP car, or enjoy the S2000 for what it is and save that money for a house or invest it.

I wouldn't 2JZ it... The F20-22 motors can handle 400-450 stock on plenty of FI kits out there. If you want reliablity, I would go SC or Ptuning if you have the cash.
If you are looking for a dyno queen, then yeah sure go ahead and 2JZ it, but be prepared to spend some $$$ because either route you take (F20-22 or 2JZ) you're going to pay to play with 600+hp

I would go boost man i loved it I made 548whp on e-85 and 450whp on 93 and it was running fine for over 2 years till about 6 months ago piston rings gone and that on a stock block not even headgasket! And it only blew cause I would rag on it just to see how much it could take and let mE tell u I was very happy with this motor

Did you get a new fuel rail with the injectors? The guys at IP told me that I needed an after market rail with those (or to mill them down) but there's an easy and cheap way to get it done. If you need help shoot me a pm, I have pictures of most of the build. Also, you don't need a 3mm hg, but it's a lot cheaper to replace than a block if something goes wrong.
