Since your name is boost over everything I would think a nice turbo/supercharger setup would be in order. That'll eat up about 75% of your budget. By a reliable daily with the rest. You don't have nearly enough for a 2jz swap, and wasting money on NA upgrades is pointless. If you like the car NA upgrade the suspension and brakes, not much to be gained from the motor. Good luck with whatever you choose. One other option is invest the money, and enjoy the car the way it is. Sometimes wish I had gone that route myself.

It certainly can be done, but the cost of the parts is astronomical. 6k for v160 tranny, 2k for clutch, 4k for decent used 2jz, 3k for electronics. Thats not including the hundreds of man hours making it fit, custom wiring, custom fuel system, custom drivesshaft and rear diff, and on and on. I would venture to say you'd be looking at 30k for a budget build with a stock 2jz. If you get into building the 2j for power you could easily double that. Its just not financially worth it. If you want a supra just buy a nice supra for 30k. You can easily achieve 500+ hp with your budget on the F20 motor anyway. 2jz is an awesome engine, no doubt. But for our cars theres lots and lots of better ways to make big power. Check the FI forum, some incredibly knowledgeable people in there. If you wanna boost, it contains all the info you need. Oh and by the way, you never to young to start investing bud, I once thought the same way. Don't waste your greatest asset for building wealth, TIME. I would cut off my right nut to know what I know now and be 21 again.

Inline pro is great, also look at pfab, ptuning, full blown, synapse, and full race. All make excellent kits capable of huge power with the right turbo. I run a pfab manifold on a custom built kit myself. All are great companies with quality kits though. You need to start doing some research and decide what your goals for the car are, and then pick the setup that suits those goals.

Inline pro kit with a precision 6262 T4 ball bearing and you should be able to get around 500 who on pump gas. Thats with a AEM EMS, Fuel rail, injectors and a 390lph(new just came out) Walbro in tank fuel pump. Are you installing kit or paying someone to install the kit? Thats gonna eat a lot of money if you have someone install it, and I forgot that you will need inline pro 3mm head gasket to drop compression to 9;1 FOR THE BOOST
