Have a great time on your run, some of the Knox,Tn gang was up there last weekend and had great weather.
Mt. Mitchell was in the clouds and about 52 deg. (at the restaurant) before windchill...then I would say it was around 40 deg. with the wind blowing about 40 mph. Leaves on the way up were about 1/4-1/2 turned, but beautiful nonetheless.
We did see several Park Rangers set up in area's along the way (traveling from Asheville to Cherokee) watching speed, and also, there were quite a few mated leaves in places all along the pkwy.

HAHA, are we going near Grandfather Mountain?
I am getting excited. I guess I will be spending some time tomorrow washing the car and getting it ready. Anyone around near Mooresville tomorrow for a mini wash the cars meet?
