A/C took a crap out on me. I went over a speed bump today and my car started sputtering. I pulled over about 50 feet after the speed bump to inspect my engine bay. I come to find absolutely nothing wrong after a quick glance and went back into the car. Well then I noticed there was no cold air blowing. I was extremely PISSED. The place I live in is VERY humid and its a necessity. This is perfect timing too. Right before I was about to purchase some wheels which are going to require quite a bit of rear quarter panels modifications. Any locals want to troubleshoot with me this weekend? I'll be in Jacksonville all weekend. All I have to say is that I'm glad I have a convertible haha.

That does suck...and yes...it's WAAAAAAAAAAY humid in your "neck 'o 'da woods!"

Good luck on getting it fixed.

So...I wonder, did you damage something with the speed bump?

I'm guessing so. I'm going to post a pic of the guhnarly speed bumps here where I live once I get a hold of a camera. All of you are gonna doo doo your pants instantly once you see them. I have to cross steer while taking up the whole road and creep over them. That means I have to wait on oncoming traffic to go by while I'm building traffic up behind me. I guess it doesn't help that I'm a lil bit too low. Lately it's been so hot and humid here that it's hard to breathe

take a look at the heat shield near your battery. make sure it is not rubbing the line. this caused my ac to not work. a simple tug away from the battery might do the trick.

my dealer was going to take my complete dash off.

I scrape hardddd when I go over the speed bumps. There's no way around it neither. It's bad when you have to go over speed bumps just to commute to work. We found out that the compressor seized though. Blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................

Ac is wasted hp anyways! And weight! Lol! That does suck, check your basics first, then if you ac clutch is good, feel the lines to see the temperature of them.

All the same temp and warm, not good.

There should be some noticable temperature differences between lines if the system is operating properly.

"A/C delete belt" FTW.

I just got a 45in belt from Advance Auto Parts to bypass the a/c compressor.

My A/C compressor was free-spinning at first and decided to lock up causing my car to not start and my battery to take a crap.
